Hello. I'm starting this blog just for actors!
The idea is that it will be an exchange of information in regards to experiences casting directors and casting director workshops in Los Angeles. I've done quite a bit of research and have not found a neutral forum setting where we can talk anonymously about what works and what doesn't work.
I hope YOU will reply and fill this page with any & all comments!
It would be great to see information about:
- FACILITY (who collected the $: where was the workshop held; who hosted the wkshp)
- CASTING DIRECTOR (who was the guest or cd assistant who facilitated the workshop)
- DID THEY CALL YOU IN? DID YOU BOOK WITH THEM?
There are so many industry related business that are preying on actors.
Maybe this will help to eliminate the bogus casting director workshops and share the legit ones.
